1chunk of chocolateabout 3 pieces of Hershey's milk chocolate
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper (or even foil), this helps to make clean up a breeze.
Break your graham cracker in half and place it on the baking sheet. Place the marshmallow on one half and the chocolate on the other half.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 2-4 minute or until the marshmallow is big and puffy and lightly brown.
Remove from the oven.
Place the chocolate graham cracker on top of the marshmallow (chocolate and marshmallow facing each other) and enjoy!
Notes
I normally make these when my kids have friends over to play and just make as many as will fit on my pan. Feel free to scale this recipe up to accommodate more servings.
I played around with broiling the marshmallows for just a few seconds to get a little more color on them. Feel free to do that at the end if you'd like. I found, though, that they went from golden to charred so fast that I didn't feel like it was worth doing.
Don't be afraid to experiment with the types of chocolate or candy you use. Milk chocolate bars are a classic to start with, but you might discover a new favorite!
While you could store leftovers in an airtight container if you have some, they are best enjoyed immediately while everything is still melty and warm.
