Cut down your sheet of Hawaiian rolls so they fit in a 9x13 inch baking pan and then slice the sheet in half so the tops and bottoms are separated.
Place the bottom sheet of rolls in the baking sheet and top them with 6 slices of American cheese and 8 slices of deli ham. Top the ham with 6 more slices of cheese and the other half of the rolls.
Melt your butter in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds and then use a pastry brush to coat the top of your sliders in the butter.
Bake your sliders for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is full melted.
Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
We had trouble finding a package of Hawaiian rolls that fit our pan, so it is easier to buy the biggest sheet and then cut it down to size.
Other toppings you can add to your sliders include mayo, mustard, and tomato. We like to use two slices of cheese to help hold the sandwiches together once the cheese is melted.
Coating your sandwiches in some melted butter gives them a nice crunch and a beautiful golden brown color.
Feel free to use your favorite deli meat if ham isn’t your favorite.
Other cheeses you can use include sharp cheddar, provolone, and Swiss. Any kind of sliced cheese will work for this recipe.
Store your leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
Alternatively, you can cover the baking pan with plastic wrap or tin foil.
Reheat your sliders in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or until they’re warm in the middle.
