Club Sandwich
This club sandwich is a delicious and customizable sandwich with layers of bread, meats, bacon, vegetables, cheese, and condiments.

Ingredients
3
slices
bread
white sandwich bread preferred
2
teaspoons
mayonnaise
1
teaspoon
yellow mustard
or stone ground mustard or Dijon mustard
3
slices
honey deli Ham
or any of your favorite sandwich ham
3
slices
deli Turkey
or any of your favorite sandwich turkey
2
leaves
Romaine heart lettuce
1
slice
cooked bacon
1
slice
American cheese
2
slices
tomatoes
Instructions
Toast the bread slices to your liking.
Spread the mayonnaise and mustard evenly on one side of two pieces of bread.
On one bread slice, on the mayonnaise/mustard side put 3 slices of ham.
Add the lettuce and bacon.
Place the slice of bread with no mayonnaise and mustard on top of the bacon.
Place the slice of cheese on top of the bread.
Add 3 slices of turkey and the tomatoes.
Place the third, and last piece of bread, mayonnaise/mustard side down.
Cut the sandwich into 4 pieces and secure each one with a toothpick.
Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute the mayonnaise and mustard mixture for a honey mustard vinaigrette
The ham or turkey you are using may impact the final texture and flavor. I like it when they are thinly sliced.
You can substitute the American cheese with your favorite cheese: swiss, provolone.
When adding the tomatoes I like to add a sprinkle of ground pepper and salt. It is not necessary but gives a nice flavor combination.
Don’t be intimidated, it is simpler than it looks. Serve with chips, fruits, and veggies.
Storage: This sandwich is excellent when made fresh with fresh ingredients.
