Ingredients

brown sugar

cup
water

teaspoon
vanilla extract

teaspoon
ground cinnamon
Instructions
In a large pot, stir all of the ingredients together over medium heat until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Once all of the sugar has dissolved, continue cooking the mixture until it begins to foam and bubble, about 5 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
This makes about 1 cup of sugar syrup.
You can store your brown sugar syrup in the fridge for up to a month.
You can use this syrup hot straight from the pot, or cold straight from the fridge.
Brown sugar syrup is traditionally used as a sweetener in coffee.
The cinnamon adds a nice warm co trash to the rich sweetness of the brown sugar.
You can use both light and brown sugar in this recipe.
