Our Biggest Mess: Stuff We Found in the Walls

This is a sweet black leather clutch. It’s much bigger than it looks, maybe 16 or so inches long. The inside has a big zippered pocket and the bottom is hard. It doesn’t seem to be a woman’s handbag. I’m not sure what it was used for. I really like it though and can imagine it finding a home in a future craft room full of something well, crafty.
Ghetto copy of To Kill a Mockingbird. I liked the book in seventh grade and I’m sure a ghetto copy reads just as well as a non-ghetto copy.
Does anyone know what these are? I assume that they play music. They are only about 6 inches wide. They aren’t in great shape, but one says something about Disney on it. Any Disney nuts out there want to buy it 🙂
And last but not least, a non-working hand-carved level. It’s neat but sadly doesn’t function as a level anymore.

The Monopoly game board looks like the one I have of my moms….I can’t remember what date she told me, but hers is one of the first ones made…so pretty good
awesome! we had some kid records for a toy record player, but they were plastic. and i remember one real record that was smaller than the other ones. (we even had my turn on earth on record!) also, my friend has made some things w/old board games….wall hangings or covers for notebooks.

This is seriously so cool! It’s like that show on HGTV ‘If Walls Could Talk’. Have you ever seen it? Anyways, those are kids “records”! When I was little we had a children’s record player that had plastic records with a couple songs on each side. It was sort of like a music box that you could change the songs on 🙂 And, I love the board games. We are big board game freaks here in this house. (Seriously, we have an entire bookcase full of them.)
Perhaps your house is trying to tell you something. The house is “sorry” he is “monopoly”izing your time because he is not “level”. But in the mean time listen to some “records” and read a “book”. One day, one day soon, he will stop pulling money from your “clutch” and you can live like a real person! Happy remodeling!

Did they make a time capsule with all this stuff? Was it all found in the same spot? It seems like this was left intentionally if it were in the walls! Crazy exciting
It was just randomly stuck in random walls. Seriously weird business going on if you ask me.
Those little records look like ones some of our friends had growing up for a kiddie phonograph.
